Why I Started At The BRIM

I started At The Brim at a stage where I lacked inspiration myself. Not the surface-level kind you come across every day, but something real. Something that had the ability to move me forward and actually change the way I think and act.
Around that time, I began noticing people who were dealing with far more adversity than I was. Yet, they kept moving. They didn’t pause to question everything. They didn’t wait for the perfect moment. They just kept going. And that stayed with me.
It made me realise that what I lacked wasn’t ability or opportunity. It was the right kind of inspiration. The kind that comes from understanding people beyond the surface. Their mindset, their decisions, and how they navigate through difficulty.
That’s where At The Brim came from.
It stands for At the Brewing Reflections and Inspirations Movement. A space where we reflect, find meaningful inspiration, and most importantly, take action. Over time, it also became a growing library of inspiration. Not just ideas, but lived experiences and ways of thinking that people can come back to.
Because reflection alone isn’t enough. Inspiration alone isn’t enough.
We reflect, we get inspired, and we move.
And that is where I come in.
